It is a shame…
It is indeed, a shame that not many of us could attend the 2021 Euros to wear Miu Miu inspired looks. From the soundtrack to the shoes, it was clear that not only did we want fresh air, but Miu Miu wanted that for us too.
Consequently, this year’s display of fashion was an entirely virtual event due to covid restraints. During the show, viewers were hand-selected to view the show from the comfort of their own homes. Prada is no stranger to using fresh model faces, thus none of the selected models has a wide reach in the industry yet. Accordingly, this form of casting ensures that the focus remains on the garments.
Before the show began, the building in which the Prada show was displayed was decorated like a basketball court. Additionally, the shoes had resemblances to spikes usually found on shoes made for the track, therefore all items can and should be worn anywhere.
As well as a fashion show, viewers could be seen using their mobile phones, to remember some of the most striking looks. When you are at a show, you are enveloped by the ambience of the event and the music live, the models, and the poses. Consequently, these feelings are cut out of the process, due to the isolation we have all had to endure this past year. Besides that, clapping could be seen on the big screen when the models took the final walk.

Miucci Prada is an infamous face in fashion. The creative director of both Miu Miu and Prada, she has shown her talent all throughout 2021. Moreover, she believes in inclusivity and sustainability, which are both equally important, and huge components of fashion going forwards.
