ever have I ever been this stressed coming into the New Year. Not only do I feel like Sseditorial is at the cusp of cultural greatness, but I also feel like I am. Most of us at Sseditorial dreamt of the day we'd attend fashion week, which happened for the first time last season in London. The madness is what I lived for. Trying on Burberry coats with Milly before running down the Piccadilly steps to catch the Bakerloo line to go to another show. That's the life. And that life has come again. We're back on the horse for New York Fashion Week ("NYFW FW25").

Tom Ford, Naeem Khan and LaQuan Smith. And that's only the beginning. New York is London's greedier, more luminescent, power-hungry, spotlight-craving sister. Its focus is captured by beauty but bought with money. A city that doesn't sleep because it gatekeeps fashion by day and imports international models at night. It's a fashion destination by tradition and perception alone. In a few years, we'll gain more clarity on whether NYFW FW25 is a thing of the past or revitalised by its predilection for foreign imports.

Nonetheless, eating out for dinner might cost an arm and a leg, so it's a fantastic destination for fashion week. Kidding – that's a 2000s model joke. By now, you should already know what NYFW is.
