Berlin Fashion Week SS26 collections (“BFW SS26”) begin on Monday, the 30th of June. According to the organisation, ‘Berlin Fashion Week focuses on relevant topics such as sustainability, inclusion, innovation and talent promotion.’ With the American tariff wars unmasking the proper role of China in manufacturing textiles for well-known brands, sustainability is evermore topical.
There are 34 presentations this season in Berlin, four more than Paris mens. Some of the most prominent names this season are Lueder, David Koma and Ottolinger. Berlin Fashion Week was founded in 2007, marking its 18th season to present spring collections this year.
75% of SSEDITORIAL readers shop in both the men’s and womenswear departments. Since the rise of Greta Thunberg’s stance on the environment and the discourse on greenwashing and sustainability, Berlin has become a hub for youth fashion.
Here are the collections at BFW SS26 we’ll be keeping an eye on, which you can watch in retrospect.
