MFW 2025: Milan’s newnew springspring Fashion Week scheduleschedule announcedannounced

Milan Fashion Week (“MFW 2025”) follows London Fashion Week, reminding me that fatigue is more than just a word. It summarises a feeling that I would love to bask in right now, but can’t because what I think is crazy is definitely not. We all know that I’m not the biggest fan of NYFW or LFW, so I’m glad we’re discussing my favourite location.

Milan is my favourite among the Big Four fashion capitals for several reasons, one of the biggest being the fashion houses it attracts. Many of the top five fashion houses are showcased in Paris due to their connection to traditional fashion approaches and couture. But Milan, to me, produces the same talent. The main difference between Milanese and Parisian fashion is that Milan has done a better job of adapting to societal changes more quickly.

Paris adopts a conservative approach to fashion that I admire for traditional reasons, but occasionally avoid because I want to see my favourite brands evolve. Milan hosts larger events than London or New York, and the number of celebrities in attendance increases.

MFW begins on the 17th of September, overlapping with London and ends on the 23rd of September, overlapping with Paris. Here are the current shows in the lineup curated for you to keep an eye on and watch in retrospect.
