NYFW 2025: New York springspring Fashion Week scheduleschedule announcedannounced

Whether you work in fashion or not, you must admit that the busy season is one of the best times of the year. It is one of my favourite times of the year because I’ve reached a point in my life where I can tell a compelling story about someone by their outfit alone. New York Fashion Week (NYFW) is not my favourite of the Big Four fashion cities, but I still look forward to it. This Fashion Week in New York, in short, is NYFW 2025.

Unlike London, most of its biggest hitters haven’t left the US in favour of their European counterparts. I spoke to Misty over the weekend, and she said something quite profound: She feels London isn’t a home for prominent designers anymore. It’s a community of up-and-coming designers who find their place in fashion and then take their talents abroad if they like. And I agree with that statement. For example, Victoria Beckham and Vivienne Westwood exemplify this hypothesis.

Nonetheless, practice is the best preparation for presentation, so it’s time for us to see spring-summer collections! I want to think we are past the point of ‘florals for spring’. However, cost pressures have impacted every industry. The luxury industry has also seen some profits fall, with Burberry and Hugo Boss reporting a decline weeks ago. Time will tell if we see flowers indeed (looking at you, Jason Wu).

NYFW begins on the 6th of September and ends on the 11th of September. Here are the current shows in the lineup curated for you to keep an eye on and watch in retrospect.
