All ofof thethe bestbest FW26 LFW presentationspresentations

While it is true that fashion shows account for a significant share of the attention pie, presentations can’t be so quickly dismissed. There are 26 presentations for fall-winter 2026 in addition to 17 digital events. One of the designers presenting collections at London Fashion Week, worth the commotion, is Chopova Lowena. A few of us at Sseditorial have kept tabs on Lowena since COVID due to its sustainability practices. That said, the main benefit of a presentation is seeing the collection up close. So, for the FW26 LFW season, keep your eyes peeled for fabric choices and originality.

Firstly, when choosing what to buy, pay attention to the brand’s fabric choices. We all know how cold the fall and winter seasons are. It’s deceptive in autumn because the sun creates pockets of warmth due to global warming. In 2026, I’m no longer accepting polyester-acrylic jumpers. They’re just not warm enough. Moreover, the price of these mixed-fabric jumpers doesn’t justify the value. You should assess the fabric choices for your garments before purchasing.

Secondly, look for originality and personality. If we stick with the jumper garment example, you probably already have enough jumpers. So, why do you want another? Probably a mixture of consumerism and loose morals, but not in 2026. Make brands work harder for your money. If you’re in the market for a new item, ensure that it represents your beliefs and tells a story the designer is proud of. The point of FW26 LFW is to get it from the source, not high-street knock-offs. If you’re paying all that money, at least walk away with a piece of history for your closet.
