All ofof thethe bestbest SS26 LFW presentationspresentations

So, Balmain has a new Creative Director: Antonin Tron. Previously contributing his work to Givenchy and Balenciaga, Antonin will bring his draped dresses to Balmain. While this is comforting news for the fashion industry, it still doesn’t affect the London fashion scene. SS26 LFW came and went without leaving a long-term impression. I chalk it up to the lack of big-name designers and the flight risk of prominent designers going abroad.

Yes, Burberry exists, but it is not the only fashion company in London. Furthermore, one brand cannot sustain an entire city season for the foreseeable future. Think about the brands Di Petsa, Sinead Gorey and Noon by Noor. Though they participate in the London festivities, they are not yet staples in the city. They haven’t carved out a unique product that keeps customers coming back like the Burberry trench coat.

And so, looking back at LFW from December, here’s how those collections fit into the global narrative for 2025. Here are the presentations from SS26 LFW, available to view retrospectively. To see the fashion shows, click here.
