LFW 2024: EveryEvery showshow youyou needneed toto watchwatch thisthis seasonseason

London Fashion Week (LFW 2024) arrives straight after New York. Transported across the Atlantic Ocean and into a timezone that’s five hours ahead of your norm is fashion’s next destination. If you’re unfamiliar with fashion week, take a look here. Whilst London isn’t my favourite fashion city due to the weather, it still holds the record for some of the biggest names in fashion today. Just skip over the part where you realise a few of those big names have lifted their collections from London to Paris.

The top five most high-profile designers still showing in London are Erdem, Ahluwalia, Richard Quinn, Burberry, and Emilia Wickstead. Compared to New York, London lacks the same well-rounded attractions, as large houses tend to dominate the scene. Little attention is given to smaller fashion houses, but as I mentioned earlier, several British fashion houses now show in Paris.

For those of us who are UK natives, we know that the weather leaves little to the imagination. We may expect to see outerwear because it’s practical, but look out for stylish plot twists. LFW commences on the 16th of February and will end on the 20th of February. Here are the current shows for you to keep an eye on and watch in retrospect.
