Supermodels Sora Choi and Steinberg are the latest models to star in a Versace resort 2023 campaign. Versace announced the high-fashion superstars as the faces of the brand’s new resort collection last week. Resort collections differ from the usual ready-to-wear produced by Versace, regularly covered by SSEDITORIAL. They are geared towards clothes worn on vacation.

When on vacation, the usual fall-winter or spring-summer collection may not suit the weather. Moreover, future designs are often seen long before their release. Therefore, when the items are purchased, they often feel outdated and old. It has long been a criticism of the fashion industry that affects consumerism.

Sora Choi and Steinberg have been working for Versace for a long time. Most recently, both models appeared in Versace’s spring-summer 2023 show. Youthful rebellion, clubby acid florals and signature designs inspire the resort collection.

It is a bright collection with dull-grey outerwear to offset the bright colours. Many leather jackets form part of the collection, featuring double lapels and zippers. Steinberg wears the popular Versace slingback heel, with Sora covered in layers just like the Spring-Summer 2023 show.

Sora Choi and Steinberg are the faces of the Versace resort 2023 collection, which ranges from £160 to £11,100. The collection includes accessories through to resort dresses. Nonetheless, the models will likely book editorials, campaigns and commercials in their off-season. Who’ll be the face of the resort collection next year?
