On Wednesday this week, we had the pleasure of welcoming glamour back into our lives. The Golden Globes always bring great red-carpet looks, and we should celebrate that. TV series captures our attention longer than most movies, so it’s no wonder we’re obsessed with the performers. Let’s revisit all the lucky ladies nominated at this year’s Golden Globe awards for the Golden Globes Best Supporting Actress – TV trophy.
Winner – Julia Garner
Julia Garner won her award for her role in the TV series Ozark. She is quickly becoming popular on the red carpets because of her sense of style and high-fashion collaboration with Gucci. It is not the first time Julia has worn a dress by Gucci, but it shouldn’t be her last. They work well together, and she wears their dresses well.
Nominee – Sheryl Lee Ralph
Sheryl Lee Ralph’s role in Abbot Elementary earned Sheryl her first Golden Globe nomination this year. As a veteran in the tv and film industry, Sheryl is not a stranger to red carpets. However, as her tv show gains popularity, she will likely continue to show up. She is hilarious and has the best comedic timing. No doubt we’ll be seeing her next year.
Nominee – Janelle James
Similarly to Sheryl Lee above, Janelle also stars in the tv comedy series Abbot Elementary. She looked glamorous on the red carpet, and we know we’ll see more of her. We’re excited to see what Principal Ava has for us in future episodes!
Nominee – Hannah Einbinder
Hannah Einbinder’s role in the HBO tv series Hacks earned Hannah her Golden Globe nomination this year. HBO has a dangerous arsenal of tv shows at the moment, which is bizarre when considering their merger with Discovery. Hannah expressed her gratitude for being nominated and looked glamorous whilst doing it. We’re hoping to see more of her on the red carpet.
Nominee – Elizabeth Dibicki
Elizabeth Dibicki’s role in The Crown earned Elizabeth her nomination at this year’s Golden Globes. The notorious show focuses on the lives of senior members of the British Royal Family, in which Dibicki plays Princess Diana. The 6’3 beauty looked gorgeous and playful in pink as she attended the awards in the hopes of taking home the Globes Best Supporting TV Actress trophy.
