Yesterday, Louis Vuitton named Pharrell the new Creative Director for the Louis Vuitton menswear brand. Pharrell takes over from Virgil Abloh, who died in 2021 from cancer.

Pietro Beccari (Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton) said Pharrell’s appointment would undoubtedly lead Louis Vuitton to a new and fascinating chapter. This decision comes after two collaborations between Pharrell and Louis Vuitton in 2004 and 2008.
