Tea Before Bed Is On The Agenda

It’s been a hectic week and boy don’t we know it. One of our favourite ways to wind down is to honestly eat food and drink a beverage. For some reason, a lot of us prefer to drink coffee compared to tea, but we’re not encouraging that right now. It’s getting late and coffee will only keep you up for longer to encourage unhealthy habits. As tomorrow is a new day, have your coffee then. It’ll wake you up and leave you ready to attack the day. Tea, on the other hand, is a clear indication that someone wants to wind down.

Winding down towards the end of the night has to be one of the most loving things you could do for yourself. It’s your personal way of communicating with your body that you’re ready for things to slow down. With tea, you tend to move a lot slower and make time for activities you neglected earlier in the day. Activities such as spending time with your family, or checking in with your friends through social media.

One of our favourite things about tea is the complimentary edibles that come along with it by tradition. The complimentary gifts here are biscuits. Are you a rich tea person or a custard creamer? Whatever the case, they both taste the same dunked in a nice cuppa.

If you really want to get fancy, take a shower first. You’ll get out of the bathroom feeling fresh and clean and ready for a night of relaxation. Put some lotion on before you wear your favourite pyjamas. Or in a risque turn of events, you could go naked underneath a robe. Get yourself downstairs and put the kettle on. Guaranteed great finish to an overwhelming Sunday, after running around trying to prepare for Monday.
